Upgraded to WordPress 2.3.1 both here and at BMID. Worked like a charm, also an easy migration from the Simple Tagging Plugin to the new and nifty Simple Tags.
Update: only encountered one simple bug (*_post2cat’ doesn’t exist), the current version of Google (XML) Sitemaps Generator for WordPress solves this.
